A sympathetic renovation and modernization of an incredible Victorian home
We recently had the pleasure of working on a stunning Victorian home, which was in need of a sympathetic renovation and modernization. The property comprises of the main house and two annexes, and had a wealth of incredible original features, such as ornate plasterwork and beautifully crafted wood paneling.
Our role in the project was to provide a full electrical installation, lighting design, and smart home integration. We worked closely with the homeowner to ensure that our work complemented the existing features of the property, while also bringing it up to date with the latest technology.
One of the key aspects of our work on this project was the integration of modern amenities into the home. We installed a state-of-the-art home cinema, complete with high-end audiovisual equipment and a comfortable seating area.
In addition to these features, we also installed a range of smart home technology throughout the property, including multi-room audio. Security & Networking was also specified which brought CCTV, Intruder Alarm and WiFi into the package. This not only improved the functionality of the home, but also provided an added layer of security for the homeowner.
When it came to the lighting design, we worked closely with the homeowner to create a system that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We used a combination of LED downlights and statement pendant lights to highlight the beautiful original features of the property, while also creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.
